The Experimental Field project and the 21st International Festival of Experimental Film and Video Art Metakansk are thrilled to present their joint art program “In Search of Language” for the first time in Belgrade,

taking place at KcGrad and KcMagacin from September 27 to October 1, 2024.

The Experimental Field is a self-organized artists’ initiative established over 8 years ago.
Its goal is to create a “nutritious” environment for interacting with and experiencing reality together.

Over the years, the organization has hosted more than 15 exhibitions and around 20 musical performances.

The annual international Metakansk festival boasts over 20 years of successful activity.

From September 27 to 29, the international short film competition program of the Metakansk festival will be screened at KcGrad.
It will feature works by directors and video artists from 18 countries worldwide. Final day of the festival is reserved for Serbian video and experimental movie screenings.

The festival jury will include: Luka Jovanov and Mihailo Ristić.

Experimental Field is launching ART LAB to foster collaboration between artists from the Balkans and Russian-speaking regions.

This lab aims to connect artists, explore the possibilities of dialogue, and create collaborative works.

The lab will be held from 27/09 to 01/10 at KC MAGAZIN/Ostavinska.
