Izložba „Flux“
9.10.2024. - 12.10.2024.
As part of the Changeover festival, the Ostavinska Gallery will host the exhibition „Flux“.
Time is rarely perceived as a linear phenomenon, and this exhibition explores its layers and fluidity. We invite you to see time not as a series of defined stages, but as intersecting and interacting states. Here, past, present, and future coexist, creating a space for free interpretation. Each of the three exhibition spaces stands as an autonomous artistic statement, independent in its content and form, yet together they form a cohesive triptych, reflecting the different flows of time.
The exhibition will be divided into three parts:
1. The Past
Curated by Katerina Kaz, artists will reimagine the merchandise from the first Changeover festival — a tote bag, while photographer Konstantin Kondrukhov will present a zine featuring photos from the previous two festivals, recontextualizing past moments and giving them new meaning.
2. The Present
In the performance hall, artist pizdadesign, in collaboration with musicians, will create video art specifically for the festival. A generative visual sequence will capture the essence of the present moment, immersing the audience in digital interpretations of contemporary reality.
3. The Future
The future will be represented by Viktor Kudryashov’s solo exhibition „Resonances of the Unheard“. Through multisensory installations, the artist will guide us into new dimensions of the unseen and unheard, offering a glimpse into the future through the lens of the unrecognized and the unknown.
„Flux“ is not a fixed view of time, but an invitation to reflect on its flexibility and fluidity. The exhibition encourages the audience to perceive time as a living, dynamic entity, where familiar categories dissolve, creating space for new interpretations.
